Next Generation Scholarship

TU Wien and Energiepark Bruck/Leitha support parents with children under the age of three.

To build a sustainable energy future for the next generation is an important objective for TU Wien and Energiepark Bruck/Leitha. Therefore, we offer a scholarship for parents with children under the age of three to support families. One scholarship in the amount of EUR 10,000 will be awarded by a jury. 

The participation of the scholarship holder is at least EUR 9,500 plus travel expenses and cost of room and board. Applicants will have to provide information on their past and current professional experience and give prove of parenthood of a child under the age of three (birth certificate).

Eligibility Criteria

  •     First academic degree
  •     A minimum of two years professional experience
  •     Child unter the age of three


Application

Parents interested in the scholarship are kindly asked to send a complete scholarship application consisting of application form, CV, letter of motivation, certificates of previous degrees and the birth certificate of their child exclusively by e-mail to newenergy@tuwien.ac.at by October 15, 2019 the latest

Your scholarship application consists of:   

•  application form Next Generation Scholarship

• CV and statement of purpose answering the following questions:

1. What makes you interested in the program and what are your expectations?
2. What can you contribute to the program?
3. How do you plan to fit the schedule of the blocked lectures into your professional and private life?
4. How do you manage the financing of the reduced tuition fee (9,500 EUR) and the travel and accommodation costs?
5. How did you find out about the MSc Renewable Energy Systems?

• Certificates of previous degrees

• Birth Certificate of child

The scholarship will be awarded by a jury. The documents submitted are treated as confidential. After reviewing the application document, applicants will be informed about further steps. The decision about the award of the scholarship will be made after a personal interview in front of a jury. 

Any recourse of law is excluded.
