Quality Assurance in Postgraduate Education

The MSc Program “Renewable Energy Systems” fully meets Austrian national standards and statutory regulations, such as the Universities Act of 2002 and the Statutes of Technische Universität Wien. In addition, the curriculum is checked by the Senate of TU Wien and enacted by Senate Decree.

The extra objective external evaluation of the program by an approved quality assurance institution makes international comparison with other programs possible and goes a long way to meeting the quality requirement of transparency. The seal of quality of the ASIIN (Accreditation Agency Specialized in Accrediting Degree Programs in Engineering, Informatics, the Natural Sciences and Mathematics) is awarded to educational programs that are particularly worthy of being singled out due to their quality, as well as the sustainable and innovative nature of their content.

TU Wien is the first Austrian university to be awarded this seal of quality.
