WWF Earth Hour 2019

From 8:30-9:30pm on Saturday, 30.3.2019 lights worldwide will be turned off again!

Under the auspices of the WWF and numerous voluntary organizations, private households, businesses and public institutions set a strong signal for climate protection since more than 12 years now by turning off the lights for a symbolic hour.

The initiative, starting from in Sydney, Australia, in 2007 meanwhile is now supported by 180 countries and regions worldwide.

The TU Wien will also be putting an active signal on environmental protection this Saturday and turns off the exterior lighting at its campus buildings*.
