To ensure a sustainable energy supply is one of the major challenges of our time. In the last decade the share of renewable energy sources has increased significantly. In the foreseeable future, this trend will continue. This presents the energy sector with major challenges: decentralisation, digitalisation and democratisation are lasting changes to the energy sector.

The integration of renewable energy into the existing system is developing into central topic in the energy sector. In order to stay competitive on the market, specialists able to deal with the new challenges of companies in regard to energy are needed. The part-time MSc Renewable Energy Systems prepares you for these challenges in the energy sector.

The practice-oriented MSc-Program imparts state of the art knowledge and competence for the design of plants for the use of renewable energy sources from an economic and legal point-of-view, the operation of plants and the future assessment of environmental, technical and economic developments of renewable energy systems. The integration of renewable energy into the existing systems is one of the core topics.

Tailor-made country modules in selected European countries give insights into the international energy sector. For maximum compatibility with your professional occupation, the lectures take place in blocked modules every four to six weeks in Vienna, Bruck/Leitha and with at our partner organisations in selected European counties.
